Abstract
The rapid evolution of wireless communication has transformed the way people connect, communicate, and access information. As the demand for higher data rates, ultra-low latency, massive connectivity, and intelligent services continues to grow, Sixth Generation (6G) wireless communication is emerging as the next frontier beyond 5G technology. 6G aims to revolutionize communication networks by integrating advanced technologies such as Terahertz (THz) communication, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS), visible light communication, and integrated sensing and communication.
This seminar explores the fundamental concepts, enabling technologies, and anticipated architecture of 6G networks. The potential of 6G to deliver extremely high data rates, intelligent connectivity, immersive extended reality, holographic communication, autonomous systems, and seamless integration of terrestrial, aerial, and satellite networks is discussed. The seminar also examines challenges related to spectrum allocation, energy efficiency, hardware complexity, security, privacy, and network deployment.
Furthermore, the future applications of 6G in smart cities, healthcare, industrial automation, transportation, and digital twins are presented. By combining advanced wireless technologies with intelligent network management, 6G is expected to establish a more connected, efficient, and responsive digital ecosystem. This seminar provides an overview of how 6G could shape the future of global communication and enable innovative applications beyond the capabilities of existing wireless systems.
